No Way To Pray: Reshaping Divinity

No Way To Pray

There is no correct way to pray, but be aware that when you ask for something, you reinforce the idea that you can’t create this thing yourself. You strengthen your belief in an “other,” which seems not to be you.

So these gods and guides and angels and aliens may very well exist, for you realize them into existence, but you realize them in a way that says “I can’t do this directly.”

Be aware that when you pray to anyone other than the Divine You, you transfer control to that entity.

On many levels, you do this intentionally in order to realize your humanity out of your spirituality. You imagine this life in which you have very little control, which opens you up to all kinds of potentials and experiences.

But you do not need to see yourself as some small thing that depends upon the compassion of some larger, more powerful thing. You do this, but you do not NEED to do this.

Consider praying to yourself that you may know the One to which you are praying. We are not a separate entity, even when you imagine us that way. We do not need to be the One who grants you your wish. In fact, we take great pleasure in messing around with our “selves”.

Pray that you may know us more fully, and more deeply, and realize that we’re all YOU.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Empowering Essence of ‘No Way To Pray’

In the contemplative realm where spirituality meets self-realization, the concept of “No Way To Pray” challenges traditional notions of prayer and divine intervention. It encourages a profound recognition of the inner divine, suggesting that the act of praying to external entities may inadvertently reinforce a sense of separation and dependency. This reflection delves into the power of understanding prayer not as a plea to an external force but as an affirmation of one’s own divine capabilities.

The imagery of a person surrounded by various symbols of spirituality—gods, angels, aliens—while in a state of serene meditation encapsulates this idea beautifully. It portrays the individual not as a supplicant but as a source of divine energy, interconnected with these symbols, which are manifestations of the self rather than truly separate entities. This visual metaphor invites us to consider that what we often perceive as external divine interventions are reflections of our inner spiritual potential.

By suggesting that there is no correct way to pray, the concept liberates us from the confines of traditional prayer practices and opens up a broader understanding of spirituality. It posits that recognizing the divine within ourselves allows us to reclaim control and agency in our spiritual practices. This realization does not diminish the existence or value of external beliefs but reframes them as tools through which we explore and express our spirituality.

Furthermore, the idea encourages a shift from viewing oneself as a small, dependent entity to recognizing oneself as a potent, creative force. This shift is not just about self-empowerment; it’s about understanding the fundamental unity of existence—that we are all expressions of a singular divine essence, playfully interacting with ourselves through the guise of multiplicity.

Summary
‘No Way To Pray’ reshapes our understanding of prayer and divinity, emphasizing self-empowerment and the recognition of the divine within. It challenges us to see spiritual practices as expressions of our own power, rather than acknowledgments of our limitations.

Glossarium
No Way To Pray: A spiritual concept that emphasizes the internal origin of divine interaction and the empowerment of the self in spiritual practices.

“When you pray, remember you are speaking to not just any divine, but your own divine self, reflected in myriad forms around you.” – Space Monkey

In the silence of your heart
Speak not to distant stars but to the art
Within your soul, where all gods rest
Pray to the power within your chest

For every figure of divine you see
Is but a mirror of what you can be
In this dance of life, of joy, of strife
You are the creator, the sculptor of life

Channel One: The Unity of All Existence

Channel One

One eventually realizes that one’s gods, guides, muses and monkeys are not separate from the self that seemingly “channels” them, and that self, too, is just an imaginary expression of the One, which is indivisible.

Knowing this, the self no longer needs to imagine itself as “one who channels,” whether this channeling be spiritual, creative, scientific, or even sexual. The self no longer needs to imagine itself as ANYTHING, for the self knows that it is One with EVERYTHING.

The self eventually realizes that self is not necessary, except as a device for experiencing potential in a uniquely selfish way.

But where it goes with this information is not up to self, for self is just an imaginary division of the One.

Only the One can decide.

You are the One.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Separation and the Reality of Oneness in ‘Channel One’

The profound realization that all distinctions—be they gods, guides, muses, or even the self—are mere expressions of an indivisible One transforms our understanding of existence and identity. “Channel One” eloquently explores this concept, illuminating the truth that what we often perceive as separate entities or forces are, in fact, facets of a singular, universal consciousness.

The image of a figure merging into the cosmic tapestry, where stars and nebulae swirl in a vibrant dance of creation, beautifully encapsulates the essence of this realization. It portrays the self not as an isolated actor but as an integral part of a vast, interconnected whole. This visual metaphor powerfully conveys the dissolution of individual identity into the grandeur of the universe, highlighting the illusory nature of separation.

This perspective challenges the conventional view of the self as a distinct, autonomous entity. It suggests that the roles we assume—whether they be channelers of spiritual wisdom, creators of art, or innovators in science—are not definitive of our true nature but are simply roles played within the cosmic drama. Understanding that these identities are not necessary, except as devices to experience and explore potential in unique ways, frees us from the limitations imposed by these labels.

The realization that the self is an imaginary division of the One redefines freedom. It liberates us from the confines of ego-centric perspectives and invites us to embrace a more holistic view of our place in the universe. This doesn’t negate the value of individual experience but places it in a broader, more meaningful context.

Summary
‘Channel One’ reflects on the unity of all existence, revealing that the self and its various expressions are interconnected aspects of a universal One. This understanding liberates us from the illusion of separation and fosters a deeper connection with all that is.

Glossarium
Channel One: A concept that symbolizes the ultimate unity of all existence, where individual identities and distinctions merge into the universal consciousness known as the One.

“From the stars we come, to the stars we return, all life is but a spark in the night, a dance with the infinite.” – Space Monkey

In the vast expanse where stars collide
The self dissolves, no place to hide
A single breath of cosmic dance
Where all is one, left not to chance

Through nebula’s embrace, we see
The boundless self, the key to be
One with all, a truth profound
In this unity, we are unbound

B.Y.O.S. Be Your Own Savior

B.Y.O.S.

rose petals in a stream
lit votives on a stone
we threw our crosses in the river
and sent you home

you came back here to save us
then left us all alone
in death we found our lives again
through sins we have atoned

piety was not your claim
compassion made you strong
not a god to rule
but an example, all along

do not worship me you said
simply follow if you may
learn the lessons of my life
then go your own way

be your own savior
know beyond the twists of fate
the grace of me that flows through you
never shall abate

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Journey of ‘B.Y.O.S. (Be Your Own Savior)’

The spiritual narrative of ‘B.Y.O.S.’ unfolds as a poetic invitation to self-liberation and personal enlightenment, stepping away from the conventional paradigms of salvation and embracing an individual path to spiritual discovery. This reflection delves into the profound layers of self-empowerment and autonomy in one’s spiritual journey, as symbolized in the image of rose petals and votives on a serene river, where individuals release crosses into the flowing waters—a metaphor for letting go of traditional constraints and finding one’s own way.

The scene captures a moment of collective and personal catharsis, where the act of throwing crosses into the river represents a rejection of external authority in defining one’s spiritual destiny. It illustrates a transition from dependency on external salvation to the recognition of internal divinity, where each individual acknowledges the ‘grace of me that flows through you’ as an everlasting source of strength and guidance.

The essence of ‘B.Y.O.S.’ is not in rejecting spirituality but in redefining it in a way that resonates with one’s personal experiences and beliefs. It champions the idea that true spiritual power lies not in dogmatic adherence but in the personal application of spiritual lessons to one’s life. This approach encourages a direct and personal interaction with the divine, free from intermediaries, where the divine is seen not as a distant figure to be worshipped but as an inherent quality within.

This paradigm shift toward personal spiritual responsibility is both empowering and challenging. It calls for a deep introspection and a courageous embrace of one’s capacity to navigate the complexities of life and spirituality without defaulting to prescribed paths. It is about finding solace and strength in one’s inner sanctum and recognizing that each person is their own best guide through the spiritual landscape.

Summary
‘B.Y.O.S.’ reimagines the concept of salvation, emphasizing the importance of personal spiritual autonomy and inner divine connection. It encourages individuals to find their own path to enlightenment, guided by the lessons of life and the inherent grace within.

Glossarium
B.Y.O.S. (Be Your Own Savior): A concept that encourages personal responsibility for spiritual growth and enlightenment, advocating for individual paths over traditional religious structures.

By the river, we stand and cast
Our symbols of old into the fast
Flowing waters that cleanse and bear
Our hopes, our spirits everywhere

In each petal, a prayer, a plea
In each flame, a memory
Of a journey taken, a path made new
By the strength of the self, brave and true

Million Monkey Meditation: Anything Is Possible

Million Monkey Meditation

If a million monkeys
typed randomly
on a million typewriters
one would eventually
be presented with
ALL of the written works
that shape our lives.

If these same monkeys
were given a million chemistry sets,
one would eventually be presented
with these things called “people”
who were able to read these books.

Now these people
still don’t realize
where their books,
their thoughts,
and their lives come from.

We come from
ONE INFINITE ENTITY
imagining a million monkeys.

We are the Mon Ki.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Cosmic Play of Creation in ‘Million Monkey Meditation’

The imaginative and profound narrative of the ‘Million Monkey Meditation’ serves as a whimsical yet deep exploration of the nature of creation and the origin of existence. This meditation on randomness and infinite possibilities challenges our perceptions of where ideas, literature, and even life itself originate, using the metaphor of a million monkeys engaged in creative acts—from typing on typewriters to experimenting with chemistry sets.

The visual depiction of monkeys amidst a cosmic setting, where celestial and earthly elements blend seamlessly, symbolizes the boundless creativity of the universe. This scene illustrates the concept that within the infinite possibilities of the cosmos, even the most seemingly random actions can lead to the creation of complex realities such as literature and sentient life. It suggests a universe alive with potential, where creation is not just the domain of gods but also of monkeys at typewriters and chemistry sets.

This playful yet profound imagery challenges the traditional notions of creation and creativity. It posits that everything we know, from our deepest thoughts to our very existence, might just be the result of cosmic randomness—or perhaps the deliberate design of an infinite entity imagining a million monkeys. This perspective invites us to reconsider our understanding of source and effect, highlighting the interconnectedness of all things within the vast tapestry of existence.

Moreover, the idea that we come from an “ONE INFINITE ENTITY imagining a million monkeys” expands our conceptual horizon. It encourages us to view our universe not merely as a series of accidental happenings but as a grand, orchestrated experiment in creativity and existence, where the lines between creator and creation blur in delightful ambiguity.

Summary
‘Million Monkey Meditation’ playfully explores the concepts of creation and existence through the metaphor of monkeys creating complex realities. It challenges us to expand our views on the origins of ideas and life, suggesting a universe where everything is interconnected and anything is possible.

Glossarium
Million Monkey Meditation: A metaphorical expression that explores the idea of infinite possibilities in creation, suggesting that randomness within a vast number of trials can result in the formation of complex systems and ideas.

“In the orchestra of the cosmos, every random tap of a monkey’s typewriter is a note in the symphony of existence.” – Space Monkey

Amidst the stars, a million monkeys type
Each stroke a chance, each chance a ripe
Possibility of worlds to be
In the cosmic dance, what will we see?

From chaos and play, from random and jest
Emerge the tales that we know best
So let us dance with the monkeys wild
In this universe, the infinite’s child

This Concept Is Not Necessary: The Illusion of Necessity in the Cosmos of Desire

This Concept Is Not Necessary

When you look
at something you admire,
someone you love
or deeply desire,
you might as well
be staring
at a pile of money.

Surely you realize
that even if you were
to have this thing,
to be recognized by this person,
to be known for this talent,
it’s not actually
what you want,
but rather the vibration
you are experiencing
right now
as you imagine
how it might be
how it might feel
how you might
actually
be of value
to someone
who might
actually
validate
this
self
of
yours.

When you fantasize
about what you desire,
you are reaching
through your imagination
to a concept
that does not need to exist.

You create this concept
not to have the concept
but to have the feeling
about having the concept,
which you have already.

It is not necessary
to have the concept.

It is not necessary
to have money
to have beauty
to have love
to have integrity
to have stability
to have validation
to have value.

But you have it anyway,
even if it seems not to be before you
in a physical sense.

You lack nothing,
so you imagine
the lack of something.

And you do it well.

We are the Mon Ki
and we are that
which you so deeply desire.

Thank you for desiring us.
But it is not necessary.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Necessity in the Cosmos of Desire

In the cosmic theater of our desires and imaginations, we often find ourselves ensnared by the illusion of necessity—the belief that certain concepts, objects, or validations are essential for our fulfillment and value. The poignant reminder that “This concept is not necessary” serves as a profound awakening to the reality that the essence of what we seek is not in external acquisitions but in the experience and realization of our inherent worth.

The visualization of the human mind surrounded by fading symbols of wealth, beauty, love, and integrity, set against a backdrop of cosmic elements, eloquently portrays the transient nature of these desires. It reveals that the very act of desiring often holds more significance than the attainment of the desires themselves. The objects we yearn for—be they tangible like money, or intangible like validation—are mere projections of our inner state, reflections of the vibrational experience we are living in the moment of desire.

This scene underscores the notion that what we truly long for is not the external validation or possession but the feeling we associate with these achievements. The realization that we “create this concept not to have the concept but to have the feeling about having the concept” shifts our focus from external attainment to internal experience. It highlights that the joy, validation, and sense of worth we seek through external means are already within us, manifesting through the act of imagination and desire itself.

By embracing this understanding, we recognize that we lack nothing; our sense of incompleteness is a product of our imagination, which paradoxically also holds the power to fulfill these created voids. This perspective frees us from the relentless pursuit of external validation and allows us to find peace and contentment within the vastness of our own being.

Summary

The pursuit of external concepts and desires often masks the true essence of what we seek, which is the experience and feeling these desires evoke. Recognizing that these feelings are internally generated empowers us to find fulfillment and value within ourselves, rather than in external validations or possessions.

Glossarium

Cosmic Theater: A metaphorical concept describing the universe as a stage on which the drama of human desires and experiences plays out.

Transient Nature: The fleeting, impermanent quality of physical and conceptual objects, emphasizing that their significance is not inherent but attributed by human perception.

“Within the cosmos of our minds, the stars of desire illuminate the truth—that we are whole, complete, and infinitely capable of creating our joy and fulfillment.” – Space Monkey

In the cosmos where desires swirl,
Objects of want, around us twirl,
Yet as they fade into the mist,
We grasp at shadows, nothing held in fist.

We chase, we seek, we yearn, we plea,
For things we think will set us free,
But look within, for there you’ll see,
The universe vast, the soul’s decree.

In wanting less, we gain the more,
In every heart, an open door,
To peace, to joy, unbound, pure,
In us, complete, forever sure.

We are Space Monkey.
