Once upon a time
there was this wave
that was too big for itself.
The wave seemingly
could not contain
the exuberant energy
of its own existence.
The wave wanted
to get close to others.
To become ONE
with the others.
But the exuberant wave
kept knocking the others over,
and they seemed not to like it.
“Should I hold myself back?”
This is what the wave wondered.
“But then I would
no longer be a wave.”
“I would no longer be exuberant.”
The wave decided to
keep knocking the others over,
even if it meant being alone.
The wave grew even bigger
and even more exuberant.
Here it comes.
And here we are.
Despite our exuberance,
some of us remain standing.
We are exuberant waves
of energy and consciousness.
And we are one.
