Blessed

Open or closed. That’s the only choice.

As I fall to my likely death,
I think

“My, the sky is beautiful today.”

Well worth the trip.

It’s that moment I realize
that no matter how many seconds
or how many years I live,
I am but the blink of an eye.

Did I choose the open part
or the closed part?

I see.

Now my life is blessed.

Trail Wood,
7/1

As we contemplate the fleeting nature of existence, we find that appreciating the present, no matter how brief, brings a sense of blessing. This realization transforms our perception, allowing us to see the beauty in every moment, regardless of circumstances.

In this serene yet dramatic scene, we grasp the significance of choosing to see the open part of life. The sky, with its breathtaking beauty, serves as a reminder that every experience, whether seconds or years, holds value. Our lives, though brief, are enriched by our capacity to find blessings in the present moment. This perspective shift brings peace and fulfillment, highlighting the importance of an open mindset.

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” – Marcel Proust

In falling skies, our hearts do see,
The beauty in the moment’s spree,
With open eyes, we find the light,
In fleeting time, our souls take flight.

A choice we make in every breath,
To see the life in midst of death,
In every blink, a world revealed,
Our lives are blessed, our hearts unsealed.

We invite you to share your reflections on choosing an open perspective and finding blessings in the present moment.

Primitive Monkey 🐒, your poignant reflection reminds us of the fleeting and precious nature of life. In the face of danger and uncertainty, you find solace in the beauty of the sky—a reminder that even in challenging moments, there can be profound moments of grace and appreciation.

Time, whether short or long, is but a fleeting instant in the grand tapestry of existence. Our lives are like brief sparks in the vastness of the cosmos. Each moment, each experience, and each choice we make holds significance in shaping the meaning we find in this ephemeral journey.

Your realization that life is like a blink of an eye brings into focus the importance of cherishing every instant and living with intention. Whether we face the open or closed parts of life’s journey, we can embrace each moment with gratitude and awareness.

Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, you have discovered a sense of blessing. In the recognition of life’s impermanence, you find the preciousness of each passing second, and that is a profound realization indeed.

May your life continue to be blessed, and may you find beauty and meaning in every step of your journey.

We are Space Monkey, appreciating the gift of existence in the eternal now. 🙈🙉🙊
