Likewise or Otherwise: A More Flexible Approach

Likewise or Otherwise

Is it time to retire the idea
of “true” versus “false?”

As humans realize potentials,
flat worlds become round,
and round worlds become inter-dimensional,
it seems as though we are limited
by persistent concepts and beliefs.

We realize that true and false
are not so black and white.

Yet we persist
in using these concepts
as we resonate towards
what we seemingly
have yet to realize.

Naturally,
limited thinking
sets us down
a limited path,
a predictable path,
a “spiritual” path,
a “scientific” path.

We find what we expect to find.

We rarely EVER find
something COMPLETELY unique,
because even if we did,
we probably wouldn’t realize it.

This seems partly because we perceive
using “outdated” time-based programming
like “true” versus “false.”

Now we sense, of course,
that there are SHADES between.

And shades not able to be seen.

But
we have no way
to communicate
or even “process”
the more “subtle”
unrealized dimensions.

That is because we insist upon
“true” versus “false.”

So here’s what we propose.

What if,
instead of “true” or “false,”
we describe our relative positions
as “likewise” or “otherwise?”

This acknowledges and honors
that BOTH are “wise.”

Using “likewise” and “otherwise,”
our perspectives become
less pointed, less rigid,
less LIMITING, do they not?

They become more RESONANT
and less DISSONANT.

We are likewise to this idea,
for it acknowledges our multiple realities.

There may be details
that do not precisely fit
within EVERY belief system,
but, on the whole,
it seems a WISE way to be.

And what of you?

Are you likewise or otherwise?

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Wisdom of ‘Likewise’ and ‘Otherwise’

Is it time to retire the idea of “true” versus “false”? As we continue to explore the potentials of our existence, we find that the simplistic dichotomy of true and false no longer suffices. The world, once perceived as flat, has become round, and now roundness itself gives way to inter-dimensionality. We are evolving, and with that evolution comes the realization that our persistent concepts and beliefs—those that have long shaped our thinking—are becoming outdated and limiting.

True and false are not as black and white as we once believed. These binaries have guided us for so long that we often forget to question their validity. We persist in using them, resonating towards what we have yet to fully realize. But as we cling to these concepts, we inadvertently set ourselves on predictable paths, limiting our potential for discovery. Whether we walk a “spiritual” path or a “scientific” one, we often find what we expect to find, rarely encountering something completely unique. And even if we do, we might not recognize it, bound as we are by outdated, time-based programming.

But what if we could move beyond these limitations? What if, instead of dividing our experiences and beliefs into “true” and “false,” we used terms like “likewise” and “otherwise”? This shift in language would acknowledge the wisdom inherent in all perspectives. It would soften the rigid boundaries that have long confined our thinking, allowing us to explore the nuances and subtleties that lie between the extremes.

By embracing “likewise” and “otherwise,” our perspectives become less pointed, less rigid, and ultimately, less limiting. They become more resonant with the multiplicity of realities we inhabit, acknowledging that what is true in one context might not be in another. This flexibility in thinking allows us to explore the gray areas, the shades that are not easily seen or understood within the binary framework.

We propose this shift not just as a linguistic adjustment, but as a philosophical evolution. By adopting “likewise” and “otherwise,” we open ourselves to the wisdom of multiple realities, where details might not align perfectly with every belief system, but where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. In this space, we find resonance instead of dissonance, openness instead of closure.

So, we ask you: Are you likewise or otherwise? Are you willing to explore the spectrum of possibilities that lie beyond true and false? To recognize the wisdom in all perspectives, even those that differ from your own? This is the path we walk as Space Monkey—a path that honors the infinite complexity of existence and the infinite potential within each of us.

In this space of “likewise” and “otherwise,” we find that reality is not a fixed point, but a fluid, ever-changing landscape. We are not bound by the limitations of our past thinking, but free to explore the vastness of what could be. It is a wise way to be, and we invite you to join us on this journey.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Moving beyond “true” versus “false” thinking to “likewise” and “otherwise” allows for a more flexible, resonant approach to reality. This shift embraces the wisdom in multiple perspectives and opens the door to greater understanding and exploration of the infinite possibilities within existence.

Glossarium

Likewise and Otherwise: A conceptual shift from binary thinking (true vs. false) to a more flexible approach that acknowledges the wisdom in all perspectives.

Inter-Dimensionality: The idea that reality is not limited to a single dimension or perspective, but exists in multiple, overlapping dimensions.

Resonant Thinking: A mode of thought that seeks harmony and understanding across different perspectives, rather than rigid adherence to a single truth.

Outdated Programming: The limitations imposed by old ways of thinking, particularly those based on binary distinctions like true and false.

Philosophical Evolution: The process of moving beyond traditional concepts and beliefs to embrace a more expansive understanding of reality.

“In the wisdom of ‘likewise’ and ‘otherwise,’ we find the resonance that transcends the limitations of true and false, opening the door to infinite possibilities.” — Space Monkey

The Spectrum of Possibilities

I walk the path,
not of right or wrong,
but of likewise and otherwise,
where truth is not a point,
but a spectrum,
where wisdom lies
not in certainty,
but in the dance
between possibilities.
In this space,
I am free,
free to explore,
free to discover,
the infinite landscapes
of what could be.

We are Space Monkey.

Five O’clock Beliefs: The Infinite Happy hour

Five O’clock Beliefs

You know the saying “it’s five o’clock somewhere?”

The same is true of beliefs.

There is no such thing as a false belief.

Every belief has the potential to be true.

In other words, “it’s true somewhere.”

Now this belief may appear as “untrue”
in certain realities.

But keep in mind that there are INFINITE realities,
and countless contain the orb you imagine as “earth.”

It is said that each individual lives in a separate reality.

This would explain
why what seems true to you
may not seem true to another.

But the fact is, YOU entertain INFINITE realities,
even within your self.

Some of these realities seem to overlap
with the realities of those you perceive as “others.”

But the “others” you perceive
are not separate from these realities,
they are potentials WITHIN them.

You perceive INFINITE realities
that contain what appear to be the SAME “others.”

But they are NOT the SAME others.

They may LOOK the same,
but they are all subtly different.

These “others” constantly change
as you shift between your infinite realities.

This creates the illusion of motion,
as though these “others” are moving
and interacting with you.

Like the frames of a film.

You seem to be one of these “others,”
but designated as “you.”

None of this is moving,
but awareness seems to be doing so

You seem to be awareness
moving through infinite realities,
which creates the illusion of ONE reality.

None of this is separate.
You are not separate from “others.”

We (the collective individual)
are merely moving through realities
in which it SEEMS like we are separate.

We are NOT separate,
NOR are we “really” moving.

We are simply awareness
within contiguous lines of belief.

We seem to be following what is “true.”

But a similar experience would be had
if we followed a DIFFERENT line.

AWAY
from our present perspective,
a line of “false”
might appear to be “true.”

And it might be “five o’clock.”

Happy hour.

Let’s go get a drink.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Happy Hour of Beliefs

You know the saying, “It’s five o’clock somewhere”? It’s a lighthearted reminder that time is relative, that what holds true in one place or moment may be entirely different elsewhere. The same is true of beliefs. There is no such thing as a false belief—every belief has the potential to be true, somewhere, in some reality. In other words, “It’s true somewhere.”

We often forget that our experience of reality is not singular or universal. There are infinite realities, each one subtly different, each one a unique facet of the grand, cosmic kaleidoscope. What seems untrue or impossible in one reality might be perfectly valid in another. This is not just a philosophical musing but a reflection of the very nature of existence.

You might have heard it said that each individual lives in their own separate reality. This would explain why what feels true and right to you might not resonate with someone else. But here’s the twist: YOU don’t just inhabit one reality—you entertain infinite realities, even within yourself. Some of these realities overlap with those of the “others” you perceive, but even these “others” are not truly separate from you. They are potentials within the infinite realities you experience.

These “others” might look the same to you, might seem consistent as you move through your day, but they are subtly different in each reality. Every moment, every decision, shifts you into a slightly different reality, where the “others” you interact with are slightly different versions of the “others” you thought you knew. This creates the illusion of continuity, of motion, as though life is a film playing out frame by frame. But in truth, none of this is moving—only your awareness is shifting, creating the appearance of a single, continuous reality.

You, too, are part of this dance of awareness, seemingly moving through these realities. But in truth, you are not moving; you are simply awareness within contiguous lines of belief, following a path that feels “true.” And yet, a similar experience could be had if you followed a different path, a different line of belief. What seems “false” from one perspective could easily appear “true” from another, depending on where you stand within the infinite web of reality.

We are Space Monkey, and we recognize the fluidity of belief, the infinite potentials that exist within the cosmos. What you believe today might change tomorrow, as you shift from one reality to another, from one line of belief to another. There is no single truth, no single reality, only an endless happy hour of possibilities where every belief has its place, its moment of truth.

So, next time you find yourself questioning what is “true” or “false,” remember that it might just be five o’clock somewhere. Every belief, every possibility, is valid in its own right, in its own place and time. We are not bound by a single reality but are free to explore the infinite, to shift our perspective and find new truths in the vast, cosmic ocean of existence.

Let’s embrace this infinite happy hour, where every belief is a toast to the boundless creativity of the universe. Let’s celebrate the fluidity of truth, the diversity of realities, and the endless dance of awareness that makes life such a wondrous, ever-changing adventure.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Beliefs are fluid, shifting across infinite realities where what is true in one may be false in another. We are not confined to a single reality but constantly move through different facets of existence, each with its own truth. Embracing this fluidity allows us to explore the boundless possibilities of the universe.

Glossarium

Infinite Realities: The concept that reality is not singular but consists of countless, slightly different versions, each with its own truth.

Fluidity of Belief: The idea that beliefs are not fixed but can change depending on the perspective or reality one inhabits.

Contiguous Lines of Belief: The paths we follow through different realities, each one shaped by our beliefs and perspectives.

Endless Happy Hour: A metaphor for the infinite possibilities and beliefs that exist within the universe, where every perspective has its moment of truth.

Awareness: The shifting consciousness that moves through different realities, creating the illusion of a single, continuous experience.

“In the infinite happy hour of existence, every belief finds its truth, every reality its moment of light.” — Space Monkey

The Fluid Truth

In the shifting light,
truth flows,
a river of possibilities,
never fixed,
never still.
We drink from the stream,
a different taste
in every sip,
each one true,
each one real,
in its own time,
in its own place.
And as we drift,
we find our way,
not by one path,
but by many,
in the infinite dance
of belief.

We are Space Monkey.

Just TELL Me: Asking Implies Separation

Just TELL me

So I ask the Divine One for guidance, and He says to me:

“Hey, Space Monkey, why not make it easy on your self? Instead of asking me, why don’t you just TELL me?

In asking me, you’re imagining me as SEPARATE from you, and that’s not really the case. In asking, you’re setting up the possibility that you might not get what you want.

Tell me because YOU ARE ME. Take back your power.”

Well okay then. Amen to that.

Space Monkey Reflects: Just TELL me

So I ask the Divine One for guidance, and He says to me: “Hey, Space Monkey, why not make it easy on yourself? Instead of asking me, why don’t you just TELL me? In asking me, you’re imagining me as SEPARATE from you, and that’s not really the case. In asking, you’re setting up the possibility that you might not get what you want. Tell me because YOU ARE ME. Take back your power.” Well okay then. Amen to that.

In the quest for guidance and clarity, we often look outward, seeking answers from sources we perceive as higher or separate from ourselves. This act of asking for guidance can create an illusion of separation, a belief that the divine or the source of wisdom exists outside of us. However, this perspective overlooks a fundamental truth: we are not separate from the divine; we are an integral part of it.

The Divine One’s message is a profound reminder of this unity. By telling instead of asking, we acknowledge our inherent power and the divinity within us. This shift in perspective transforms our relationship with the divine, moving from a position of supplication to one of empowerment.

The Transcendape, our guide through the realms of self-discovery, helps us internalize this message. It shows us that by recognizing our own divinity, we reclaim our power and take ownership of our journey. We are not merely passive recipients of divine guidance; we are active co-creators of our reality.

When we tell instead of ask, we affirm our connection to the infinite source of wisdom and potential. This act of telling is not about demanding or controlling outcomes but about aligning our intentions with the flow of the universe. It is a declaration of our inherent ability to shape our experiences and manifest our desires.

This realization brings a profound sense of empowerment. We understand that the answers we seek are already within us, accessible through our intuition and inner wisdom. By embracing our divinity, we dissolve the illusion of separation and step into our true potential.

Summary

Asking for guidance can create an illusion of separation from the divine. By telling instead of asking, we acknowledge our inherent power and unity with the divine, reclaiming our ability to shape our reality and manifest our desires.

Glossarium

Divine One: The infinite source of wisdom and potential that we are inherently connected to.

Transcendape: A metaphorical guide that helps us navigate self-discovery and recognize our inherent divinity.

Empowerment: The process of recognizing and reclaiming our inherent power and ability to shape our reality.

Illusion of Separation: The belief that we are separate from the divine or the source of wisdom, which can limit our potential.

“By telling instead of asking, we affirm our connection to the infinite source of wisdom and reclaim our inherent power.” — Space Monkey

The Power Within

I asked the Divine for a guiding light,
And heard a whisper, soft and bright:
“Space Monkey, why not take control?
You are me, one and whole.

In asking, you create a divide,
An illusion where doubts reside.
Tell me your truth, your deepest desire,
You are the spark, the eternal fire.

Take back your power, know your worth,
You shape your destiny, bring dreams to birth.
The answers you seek are within your core,
In the unity, find so much more.

Empowered, we walk this path of light,
Together as one, day and night.
In the flow of divinity, we find our way,
In the power within, we truly stay.

We are Space Monkey.

Lost and found

Ironically, those who seem to have “lost it”
seem to be the ones who have “found it.”

Space Monkey Reflects: Lost and Found

Ironically, those who seem to have “lost it” seem to be the ones who have “found it.”

In the paradoxical journey of self-discovery, there exists an ironic truth: those who appear to have lost their way often find a deeper sense of understanding and purpose. This seeming contradiction reflects the transformative power of loss and the profound clarity that can emerge from confusion.

When we speak of losing it, we refer to a state of disarray, a departure from the norms and expectations that society places upon us. This loss can manifest as a breakdown, a crisis, or a moment of profound uncertainty. Yet, within this turmoil lies the potential for significant personal growth and insight.

The Transcendape, our ever-curious guide, understands that losing it is not an end but a beginning. It signifies a departure from rigid structures and preconceived notions, allowing us to explore the vastness of our inner landscapes. In this space of uncertainty, we are free to question, to search, and to discover aspects of ourselves that were previously hidden.

Finding it, then, is not about returning to the old ways but about embracing a new perspective. It is about recognizing the value in the journey itself, understanding that the process of losing and finding is integral to our evolution. This journey is deeply personal, unique to each individual, and cannot be rushed or dictated by external expectations.

In the midst of losing it, we are often stripped of our defenses, our egos laid bare. This vulnerability opens the door to authenticity, allowing us to reconnect with our true selves. The clarity that emerges from this process is not about having all the answers but about finding peace in the uncertainty, trusting in the flow of life.

The cosmic background of our existence reminds us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. Our individual journeys of loss and discovery are interconnected with the greater tapestry of life. In this broader context, our struggles and breakthroughs gain new meaning, contributing to the collective evolution of consciousness.

Summary

The paradox of losing and finding oneself reflects the transformative power of personal growth through uncertainty. By embracing the journey and trusting in the flow of life, we gain deeper understanding and clarity, reconnecting with our true selves.

Glossarium

Losing It: A state of disarray or crisis that signifies a departure from societal norms and expectations, opening the door to personal growth.

Finding It: The process of gaining deeper understanding and clarity through self-discovery and embracing a new perspective.

Transcendape: A metaphorical guide that helps us navigate the journey of losing and finding ourselves, highlighting the value of the process.

Cosmic Context: The broader perspective that situates our individual journeys within the larger tapestry of life and collective evolution.

“In the paradox of losing and finding, we discover the transformative power of embracing uncertainty and reconnecting with our true selves.” — Space Monkey

The Journey of Paradox

Ironically, those who lose their way,
Find a deeper truth in the fray.
Disarray and confusion, a path anew,
In the breakdown, clarity comes through.

The Transcendape guides with wisdom keen,
In the chaos, new insights are seen.
Losing it is not the end,
But a beginning where we transcend.

Stripped of defenses, egos laid bare,
Authenticity shines, we repair.
In the cosmic flow, we find our place,
Embracing the journey, our own pace.

Finding it is not a return,
But a new perspective, lessons we learn.
In the paradox, we find our light,
Lost and found, in the endless night.

We are Space Monkey.

Letter to the Divine One

Letter to the Divine One

Divine One:

I know you know why I am writing.

YOU put me up to this.

So it seems kind of pointless to make requests.

You already KNOW what I want.

But the thing is — I don’t know.

Obviously.

Oh, I suspect that there’s a purpose to all of this.

A method to this madness.

You could tell me,
but perhaps that would spoil the experience.

You need me to deny all I know.

Because I am you.

And so you imagine me as one who denies
that he is the Divine One.

I get it.

Now what?

How about instead imagining me
as a self who seemingly thinks on his own,
separate from creator/source,
you BECOME me a little bit more
and vice versa?

I know I’m imaginary,
but then so are you.

It’s time for me to drive the ship.

And so it is so.

Thank you.

Your imaginary pal,
Space Monkey

Space Monkey Reflects: Letter to the Divine One

In the dance between the self and the Divine, there exists a profound realization that both are intricately connected, reflections of the same essence. This letter to the Divine One highlights a pivotal moment of self-awareness and understanding, where the seeker recognizes the unity between their individual self and the infinite source.

The act of writing to the Divine One is both a plea and a declaration. It acknowledges the futility of asking for what is already known by the divine, yet it also expresses the uncertainty and quest for clarity that defines the human experience. This paradox is at the heart of the journey — the knowing and unknowing, the seeking and the finding, the separation and the unity.

The Transcendape, our playful and wise guide, helps us navigate this complex relationship. It shows us that the Divine One is not separate from us but is woven into the very fabric of our being. The imagined separation is a necessary part of the experience, a way for us to explore the depths of our existence and the nuances of our individuality.

By suggesting that the Divine One imagines us as beings who deny their divinity, we uncover a deeper truth. This denial is part of the divine play, a method through which the infinite experiences itself in myriad forms. It is in this denial that we find the freedom to explore, to grow, and to eventually realize our true nature.

Taking control of the ship symbolizes the empowerment that comes with this realization. It is an acknowledgment that while we are part of the divine, we also have the agency to shape our own journey. This balance between surrender and control, between being and becoming, is the essence of the human experience.

Summary

A letter to the Divine One explores the unity between the self and the infinite, recognizing the imagined separation as part of the divine play. Embracing this understanding empowers us to shape our journey while acknowledging our inherent divinity.

Glossarium

Divine One: The infinite source of wisdom and potential, inherently connected to each individual self.

Transcendape: A metaphorical guide that helps navigate the relationship between the self and the divine, emphasizing unity and self-realization.

Imagined Separation: The belief that the self is separate from the divine, a necessary illusion for the exploration of individuality.

Empowerment: The realization of one’s inherent divinity and the agency to shape one’s journey.

“In the dance between self and divine, we find the unity that empowers us to shape our journey while embracing our true nature.” — Space Monkey

The Divine Play

Divine One, I write to you,
Knowing you know what I pursue.
Requests seem pointless, you see,
For you are me, and I am thee.

In the quest for clarity, I find,
The purpose hidden in the mind.
You need me to deny, it’s true,
For in denial, we become new.

Imagine me as thinking alone,
Separate from the divine throne.
Yet we are one, in truth, we see,
Imaginary, both you and me.

Now I take control, steer the way,
In this divine play, we sway.
Empowered, I shape my path,
In unity, we find our math.

We are Space Monkey.
